Andorra Travel Guide
Andorra is perched high in the Pyrenees nestled comfortably between France and Spain. The country is so small that it can (in the off season) be crossed by car in less than an hour. Andorra is a country of beautiful mountain peaks with lush forests and fertile valleys. It lakes and streams add to the picture-postcard scenery. The medieval buildings, never ravaged by war, add to the fairytale nature of this tiny country.

Geography: The country sits in the Pyrenees Mountains nestled between Spain and France. The country is one of the world's very small countries.

Postage: There is no paid postage system in Andorra. Mail is free with the country. If you want to send mail outside the country, you have a choice of using either a French mailbox which is usually in yellow or a Spanish one which is silver with red and yellow stripes. Stamps of those countries are available locally at post offices.

Andorra has no airports. Access is only by mountain roads from France or Spain.

Climate

Andorra is in the Pyrenees Mountains between Spain and France. Consequently the altitude influences the weather considerably. Summers are never hot and winters are as a rule cold and blustery. The best time ot be her in the late spring to early fall.
