Seychelles Travel Guide

The Seychelles is one of the most idyllic island paradises in the world. The turquoise ocean washing over magical white beaches is a sight surpassed by few others.

The Seychelles is a group of approximately 115 islands located off the East African coast in the Indian Ocean, northeast of Madagascar. The capital, Victoria, is situated on the main island of Mahé. Constant summer weather adds to the Seychelles' attraction.

The population totals about 75,000 and is culturally very differentiated. English, French and Creole are the official languages spoken. The local people lead a simple and unsophisticated life, and have a friendly attitude towards visitors.
