Hint! If you're leaving the country, it's smart to photocopy the headpage of your passport (the one with your picture and i.d. numbers). Keep one copy with you, but not in the same place as your actual passport (it's your back-up). Give a second copy to a relative or trusted friend -- someone who you can rely on to visit your local Passport Office in case you lose your original while abroad. |
