Geography: The state is bordered by Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri and Kentucky. Lake Michigan also borders Illinois in the northeast. The state is mostly rolling hills running the entire length of Illinois. The land is excellent for farming.
Climate
All of Illinois enjoys a rather moderate climate with cold and windy winters and a warm summer. Summers at times can get hot but is not usually for long periods. Sponge and fall are usually very mild and pleasant with rain in the spring. |
