Boyhood home of John Wayne and the filming site of "The Bridges of Madison County," Iowa has a number of interesting and fascinating sites to see and history to explore.
Climate
Iowa is very pleasant and warm in the summer months. It has excellent wheat and corn growing weather. The fall and spring are mild with chilly evenings. Winters are cold. Winds can be high at times. Warm clothing is highly recommended. |
