New Mexico Travel Guide
If you really want to relax, New Mexico is the place to be. In New Mexico, you are far from the frantic push of big city life and the pace of things is down right pleasant. The state is very colorful. In Santa Fe, the capital, you can not miss the effort to keep the historical character of the town in not only architecture but also the tempo of life. If your looking for special experiences, Roswell hasn't had nay lately but Albuquerque can get you a balloon experience that you'll never forget . Geography: New Mexico is bordered by Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Arizona, Mexico and at Four Corners with Utah. The northern area of the state is filled with rolling hills, high country and mountains. The southern area and eastern area are almost entirely flat.

Climate

The state is for the most part dry except in northern mountains where rain is more plentiful. New Mexico has chilly to cold winters and favors resorts like Taos with an abundance of excellent powder. The summer months tend to be hot and dry in all parts of the state.
