Climate
Situated just to the south of shallow Lake Erie, Ohio is effected by "lake effect" weather. Snowfall is greatly influenced upwards by the "effect." Strong winds also come off the lake and cool in both winder and warmer months. As one travels south in the state, the altitude increases but not dramatically, so altitude does not effect the weather to any great degree. |
