It is hard to ignore Wisconsin's dairy economy. There are as many cows as people! Geography: The state is bordered in the north by Michigan (Upper Peninsula) and Lake Superior. In the east Wisconsin is bordered by Lake Michigan, to the south by Illinois and to the west by Iowa and Minnesota. Wisconsin is relatively flat, rolling countryside. It has a multitude of very clear and clean lakes. The northern area is well forested.
Climate
Wisconsin winters are quite cold. Caution should be used to ensure adequate clothing protection. Spring and summer are mild and pleasant. Evenings are usually chilly. Summers are warm and at times hot.
